We have been here for a month now and plan on staying longer. There doing remolding during the day and yes the hallways might be a little dirty but they clean them every day. Plus ur not living in the hallways u have ur own one bedroom or two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen
The rooms were very clean and I have no complaints about anything. the staff was amazing the location I think Is the best part because it’s right by the mall and all of these fantastic restaurants overall I had a amazing stay I will definitely be coming back
Based on prior reviews, I can’t imagine what the rooms must’ve looked like before but I had spectacular stay with a good nights rest and very quick service to my room. It’s complete with a full kitchen and a lovely bed and couch, this is literally home away from home. The desk clerk was nice as well, no breakfast but all the stores are good and close so I don’t mind.
Note: The hotel is underway with renovations but the work doesn't seem to affect the rest of the guests. If you Uber/Lyft or drive yourself, this place is centrally located to many parts of SE Michigan. Walking is totally doable to Walmart, some restaurants, and lots of available delivery options. Maintenance and HK are very nice and helpful. Bare (really bare) minimum food pantry/sundry options on lobby. Good, hot coffee in the AM. One thing that got me at first was a super faulty AC unit leaking (like soaking carpet) but since the weather changed, it hasn't been a problem. One pet peeve: despite keeping my key card away from electronics/magnets, it seems to de-mag the second I leave the property so I always have to get a new one!
Pool should have been open in 80+ weather. Coffee pot in room would have been nice. Regular coffee & creamers in Lobby. Hard copy of TV Channels in room would have been nice. Spent 5 days & 4 nights.
I love the area it’s in, staff friendly at check in, lobby smelled fresh as I walked in and my room was cleaner than I expected to be an extended stay.
To be honest, I stayed here and I actually have no complaints. The staff were very nice, helpful, and answered every question I had. The room was very clean and the full kitchen was a life saver when it came to cooking for my kids, instead of ordering out. Housekeeping did a good job and made sure everything in my room was restocked. Overall it’s a very nice and cozy hotel with very friendly staff!
Let me start by saying the staff is very nice! Crystal, Aleta and Jeremy were all very attentive and treated me and my husband like friends!! The rooms are like apartments! This place is perfect for the lifestyle change I am currently experiencing. It’s affordable and comfortable! Thank You Sonesta!
